Reflections is open! Entries due Nov 17

Reflections is a National PTA arts recognition program that helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful not only in school but in life.

The theme for the 2023-2024 program will be “I am Hopeful Because…”

Students submit their completed works of art in one or more of the available arts categories:

-Dance Choreography
-Film Production
-Literature
-Music Composition
-Photography
-Visual Arts

Entry forms and submissions are due November 17th to the main office at THS.


2024 Senior Art Award

Seniors, do you paint, draw, take photos, sculpt, or make ceramics?

Talented seniors will be chosen by a panel of PTA and community members (no teachers) for their best artwork submission. This contest is open to all Tahoma High School 2023 Graduating Seniors. Artwork is to have been completed during the 9th through 12th grades, completed in an art class, or done independently. Artwork must be G-rated.

You may submit one piece per category:
* Photography
* Drawing
* Painting
* Digital Art
* Ceramics
* Fashion
* Mixed Media 3D
* Mixed Media 2D

A winner will be chosen from each category based on a rubric that will be provided. Each category winner receives a $50 award and a Grand Prize winner receives $250. Winners will be announced at the Senior Awards Night on May 29.

NOTE: Tahoma High School PTA reserves the right to award the Visual Art Award at its discretion.
